Under limited supervision and in collaboration with the Director of Internal Communications, this position is responsible for planning, material creation and production of internal corporate events. The incumbent will create content that engages colleagues with the Associated Bank culture and strategy.

This person will also:

  • Writes, distributes and manages registration and invitations for events produced by Internal Communications and in support of larger companywide and/or line of business events, primarily via the intranet, Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
  • Works closely with presenters and/or event owners to prepare agendas, develop content (i.e., presentations, handouts, surveys) and prepare speakers.
  • Leads technical aspects of event production, including running Microsoft Teams and coordinating with audio visual crews as needed.
  • Applies brand style and design principles to create engaging presentations and event materials.
  • Serves as project manager for internal events such as Colleague Appreciation Week and roadshows which promote employee engagement and strengthen the company culture.
  • Writes internal articles to share external event opportunities (i.e., ticket giveaways, preview opportunities), and articles recapping external events.
  • Assist in the alignment of internal event communications activities with public relations, investor relations, corporate social responsibility, corporate events, marketing, line of business, and operational/support area partners for maximum effectiveness and resource allocation.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Journalism, marketing, public relations, communications, English or business . Required

Experience

  • 4-7 years Corporate communications, marketing, journalism or public relations with strong writing experience. Video and event production experience. Required
