Job/Internship Description

The Innovation and Development Division (IDD) drives the innovation strategy for the Hubs and Operations, and contributes to the Group's transformation. It is responsible for imagining, developing and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, particularly when it comes to offers with a high technological content (including digital and IT). IDD gathers more than 3,000 employees from 70 nationalities at 60 sites.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Inventory and Data Analyst Intern will support the production planning and inventory management processes at Air Liquide's Newport, DE location. The ideal candidate will be from a local university and able to work fulltime over the summer.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a safety role model; promote a high level of safety awareness; adhere to and support the continuous improvement of all safety practices /procedures.

  • Validation and verification studies to compare virtual standards to physical use.

  • Make recommendations of changes to Bill or Materials and Routings

  • Reviewing item master details for accuracy and set up

  • Improve KanBan Systems (virtual and physical) and inventory organization.

  • Evaluate Slowing Moving, Obsolete, Returned or Damaged Inventory (SMORDI).

Qualifications/Competencies

Required Qualifications

  • High School degree obtained, current enrollment in a university program

  • Strong safety culture, attention to detail, and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Google Suite apps

  • Excellent time management skills and organizational skills with the ability to complete projects on time and handle ad-hoc assignments

  • Ability to analyze data and present summaries of findings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a university program in Business Management or a similar program

  • Prior co-op or internship experience

  • Experience with Oracle

  • Background in Project Management

The candidate must have valid unrestricted employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
