Due to continuing growth we are seeking an Environmental Engineer/Scientist for our Shreveport office with Compliance and Remediation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans and project specifications including estimates and budgets related to compliance and remediation projects
  • Interpretation of environmental regulations
  • Coordination of small to mid-scale projects
  • Field oversight of environmental sampling and construction activities
  • Attendance at meetings and liaison with client and/or regulatory personnel.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Engineering or Environmental Science experience
  • BS or MS in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering, Geology or Environmental Science
  • Experience with assessment, investigation and remediation of impacted properties
  • Experience with regulatory compliance including air, water and waste permitting
  • Experience with UST’s
  • Strong problem solving abilities and aptitude
  • Ability to present technical information, both written, orally and electronically in a concise and professional manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other technical professionals, clients and regulatory professionals is a must
  • Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Self-starter, flexible team player, willing and able to work on a wide variety of tasks and the ability to coordinate staff
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training is considered and asset
  • Must be U. S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
